For those who are new to the Church, the environment can seem mysterious and daunting. Society has long portrayed the Church and Unitologists alike as obsessive, cult-like, and even blinded by false religion. We have, however, come to overlook these false preconceptions of the Church and proceed forth as a strong and thriving organization.
The Church of Unitology was founded on the ground-breaking discoveries of Dr. Michael Altman. Although not a believer of Unitology, Dr. Altman discovered the Marker at the Chicxulub site, which is the Church's primary crest and area of study. Dr. Altman mysteriously died five years ago in 3015. He left behind many great works which many Unitologists still revere to this day.
As Unitologists, we adamantly believe that the human race was created by the intelligent design of a divine alien agency, and will be unified after death in Heaven through the power of the Chicxulub Marker. The promise of the Church of Unitology is one of transformation and rebirth.
The Marker is our central symbol of Unitologist doctrine. Although little is known of the Marker and the arcane symbols etched into it, we believe that these inscriptions are a message that will reveal the true origin and meaning of human life. The Marker contains a specific code that is the key to eternal life, a code that we have yet to decipher. Once this code is realized, however, it will bring about a physical paradise that will save mankind from its destructive, materialistic course.
